Private Tom Keys

of the Parachute Regiment
Born June 28th 1982.
Joined the army straight from school age 16.
Attended Army Foundation College at Harrogate for 12 months, then joined the Parachute Regiment.
Served in Sierra Leone and Northern Ireland before transfering to the Royal Military Police in 2001.
Deployed to Iraq in Op Telic 1 2003 and killed alongside five colleagues when a 400 strong mob stormed an Iraq police station.
The six RMP's had vital equipment removed and had no means of communication, satellite phones were denied to them.
