There are members of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, The Army and Royal Air Force who die in far flung places in circumstances where their identities have been kept from the wider public. These brave men are usually members of our Special Forces, The Special Air Service Regiment, the Special Boat Service and the most recently inaugurated unit the Special Reconnaissance Regiment.
For the most part we only know the date on which any one of them lost his life and the country in which it happened. For this reason it is easy for them to become the forgotten.
It seems appropriate therefore that even though unnamed they should be remembered by the Military Families Support Group by having this entry on the “In Memory” section of our website.
