Killed in Iraq on the 16th July 2005
Phillip was born in Dover Kent on 11th August 1983 he always wanted to be a soldier and thought he could not be one because of his eyesight. When he left school he did an apprenticeship to become a bricklayer and spent two years doing that but was never happy and he wanted to do something to feel proud of. He spoke to me and decided to try to get in to the Army when he was acccepted,. he was so happy and enjoyed his life Sadly Phillip was killed in 16th July 05 and is missed every day by his dad, his brother, his sisters and his Grandad. Phillip is my first thought in a morning and my last thought at night and I will miss him every minute of the day for the rest of my life.
